IT Strategies International Corporation Donates Easter Baskets
to Children at the Women’s Development Center

(Las Vegas) - The Easter holiday will be a little brighter for youths at the Women’s Development Center thanks to the efforts of IT Strategies International Corporation.

The staff at IT Strategies, a global computer consulting firm headquartered in Las Vegas, announced today they will donate 30 Easter baskets for the children at the Woman’s Development Center. The baskets, full of candy and games, will be delivered before the holiday and distributed to the youths during an Easter party.

“Our staff is happy to bring a little sunshine into the lives of these children during this special holiday,” said IT Strategies International President Michael Beardslee.

Incorporated in 1987, the Woman’s Development Center provides opportunities for economically disadvantaged families to secure transitional housing, permanent rental housing, and home ownership. WDC also provides support services to families to attain long-term self sufficiency and combat “the cycle of poverty.”

The WDC has a Transitional Housing Program, which is a residential program for single homeless parents with children. The program is also a work program designed to help families move towards independence while addressing the issues that have brought them to homelessness. The average length of stay is six to eight months.
