Local Information Technology Consulting Firm, IT Strategies International, Reports Sharp Increase in Annual Sales for 2001

(Las Vegas) – IT Strategies International Corp., a leading Las Vegas information technology consulting firm, released its 2001 end-of-the-year sales report, which shows a phenomenal 50 percent increase compared to the previous year. This follows a 30 percent growth experienced in the year 2000.

While many technology companies reported losses, had lay-offs or closed their doors in the past year, including those impacted by the Sept. 11 attacks, IT Strategies has encountered continual growth since it opened its doors in Las Vegas nearly six years ago. The firm accomplished more than $3.6 million in sales in 2001, which averages to a 50 percent rise in revenue from 2000.

Executive Vice President Michael Marriott attributed the company’s financial growth to a variety of factors, including new businesses entering the Las Vegas Valley that need computer consulting services, and the continual need for existing corporations to update their technology to match their business goals.

“Many technology companies, both locally and throughout the nation, failed in the weak economy and were forced to lay off employees or close down,” said Marriott. “We feel very fortunate for our success and plan to exceed our record for 2002.”
