IT Strategies International Appoints Thomas Beshers

(Las Vegas) – Michael Marriott, executive vice president of IT Strategies International, announced the information technology consulting firm has appointed Thomas Beshers as disaster recovery consultant for the business.

Assigned to the Las Vegas Valley Water District, Beshers brings more than 25 years of experience in corporate business resumption and recovery to IT Strategies.

An independent consultant for eight years, he has developed, implemented and tested disaster recovery plans for a wide array of businesses, including financial and investment firms, banks, utilities, communications firms and manufacturers. He also has provided business impact analysis, risk analysis and impact assessments for several companies.

Beshers previously served as director of data center operations and telecommunications for Bell Atlantic Mobile in Bedminster, NJ, where he devised disaster recovery plans for three major data centers. He also served as director of data center, communications and disaster recovery for Bank One in Columbus, Ohio.

Beshers, who earned a bachelor of arts degree in Communications from the University of Akron in Ohio, has extensive experience with a number of hardware and software environments, and has received certification in several disaster recovery and business continuity applications.
