Ramirez Joins IT Strategies International

(Las Vegas) – Michael Beardslee, president of IT Strategies International Corp., a leading Southern Nevada information technology consulting firm, announced today that Jason Ramirez has joined the firm as a senior consultant. Ramirez has been assigned to the Las Vegas Valley Water District, where he will oversee the implementation of Geographical Information System technology.

With more than a decade of experience in the information technology field, Ramirez possesses numerous GIS skills. Prior to joining IT Strategies, he served as a GIS consultant for ACTS, Inc., a Department of Energy facility. Ramirez created spatial and tabular data systems and ad hoc maps for on-site environmental projects for the company. Previously, he served as a GIS coordinator and senior staff scientist for Houston-based ENTRIX, Inc.

Ramirez earned an associate’s degree in Computer Drafting Technology from Lamar University in Beaumont, Tex. He is currently completing a bachelor of arts degree from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn.
