Tekabe Joins IT Strategies International Corp.

(Las Vegas) - Mike Marriott, vice president of IT Strategies International Corp., a leading Southern Nevada information technology consulting firm, announced today that Ruth Tekabe has been hired as a senior consultant.

Tekabe has been assigned to Las Vegas Valley Water District and will be performing various technical assignments. She brings more than seven years of experience in Full Cycle Oracle relational database and Applications Design and implementation. Tekabe has a strong background in SQL and PL/SQL, MS-DOS, UNIX and Windows 95/NT/XP.

Prior to joining IT Strategies, Tekabe worked as a consultant at the Las Vegas Water District. Her duties included monitoring and optimizing the performance of queries and applications to increase productivity, managing data redundancy, and creating and managing database objects. Before moving to Las Vegas, Tekabe worked in New York City as an Oracle and Access Developer at several places, including the United Nations.

Tekabe received her bachelor of science degree in Management Information Systems from Old WestBury College in New York, N.Y. in 1997.
